INVENTORY COST ANALYST

 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE: 

Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly gross margin and sales analyses by brand and customer type.Analyze customer returns and allowances.Analyze inventory transactions.Review international pricing calculation for Distributors and Subsidiaries.Process all COGS Month end closing accruals and adjustments.Review standard cost analysis as performed by Cost Accountant.Assist in monthly preparation of borrowing base certificate.Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation.Assist in managing annual physical inventory.Ad hoc reports and analysis as required.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE:

 

BS/BA in Accounting/FinanceMinimum 3-5 years related experienceKnowledge of cost accountingInventory experience Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable quick and efficient data gathering and analysis. Ability to research, compile, interpret & analyze data. Good written, verbal communication  & collaborative skillsProficiency in Excel.
