06-132 Director/Sr. Director Mfg. Finance

GENERAL FUNCTION: Supervise and direct financial planning function to insure that Luxottica Optical Manufacturing achieves financial goals, customer service levels and realizes strategic initiatives.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise Manufacturing financial planning and analysis Department.
Leads cost efficiency and productivity initiatives.
Deploy creative solutions and financial discipline to maximize Luxottica Optical Manufacturing?s contribution to overall company?s profitability.
Lead with IT, systems development projects for manufacturing.
Develop manufacturing and supply chain strategies with field management team..
Train and develop staff to meet organizational needs.
Communicate effectively with management concerning financial objectives and key business metrics.
Develop plans and budgets for Luxottica Optical Manufacturing.
Train and develop field management and associates in financial systems, internal controls and understanding financial statements.
Act as a consultant to field management to assure the profit standards of the company are met via customer service levels and tight operating expense controls.

 

 COMMUNICATION WITH OTHERS

 

INTERNAL ? Communicate with Luxottica Optical Manufacturing Management team, Finance and Administrative Associates,  Optical Brand Teams and Luxottica Retail Management.

 

EXTERNAL ?

 SPECIFICATIONS

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS-

Must have in-depth knowledge of  Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations and Finance,  financial management, management of complex systems,  financial control and analysis techniques and accounting. Must be able to effectively organize and delegate.  Must have strong communication skills across all levels of an organization.  Must be an established leader.

 

EDUCATION ?

B.S. and C.P.A. and/or M.B.A in Accounting or Finance

 

EXPERIENCE ?

7-10  years of financial management experience in a manufacturing/supply chain environment.
