A/P Specialist

Our client, in Southern  Orange County has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of full cycle accounts payable. This candidate will also need to be able to communicate with all levels of staff. The company is experiencing growth within the accounting division, and is looking for qualified candidates to fill their needs.

 

Job Description:
 Code invoices for accounts payable input.
 Input accounts payable invoices
  Match invoices with receiving documents 
 Review vendor statements and reconcile any differences.
Prepare batches for review and posting.
Print and post A/P checks.
 Match checks with vendor invoices and prepare for distribution.
 File paid invoices with check stubs.
 Respond to vendor inquiries for payment or discrepancies.
Expense reports & Gl Coding

 

 

Job Requirements:
2-3 years of accounts payable experience
Associates degree preferred in accounting or business
Team player
Excellent communications skills
Strong accounting knowledge
