A/R Specialist - Richmond, VA

McGuireWoods LLP, one of the top law firms in the United States, has an excellent opportunity available in our Richmond, Virginia office for an A/R Specialist.

 

The successful candidate will expedite the flow of checks into the bank and ensure client payment is properly credited. Research incoming checks to ensure proper and timely processing of payments; date stamp, endorse and batch incoming checks for deposit through remote deposit scanner on a daily basis; prepare and Batch incoming checks for deposit.  Apply cash/checks to client accounts per instructions. Process suspense, unapplied credits and other items as needed.  File batches and maintain control of filing system.  Research and apply wire receipts.

 

Must be detail-oriented, organized and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to work overtime when necessary and work well under pressure. Excellent verbal and written skills are required.

 

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years related cash application and A/R research preferred.
