A/R Supervisor

Our Accounting Department is looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to become a part of our team.? The right candidate will have a positive attitude, be willing to be involved in the day-to-day detail;?is flexible, willing to grow, and must be able to do the following:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

?

????? Monitor and analyze aging receivables, implement collection policies and procedures to minimize over 60-day balances

????? Responsible for collections regarding all national and key accounts for Commercial and Craft & Hobby segments of business

????? Create and update internal reports via Crystal to analyze and improve department efficiency

????? Responsible for month-end closing of A/R which includes reconciling all A/R related accounts prior to month-end close, running specific reports, posting all cash and unapplied cash, recording credits, etc.

????? Research issues related to internal or external customers requests, refund requests, deductions, credits, proof of deliveries, etc. and make suggestions based on findings to improve the current processes

????? Responsible for daily deposits, posting payments, and reporting of cash

????? Manage a team of three employees

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

?

????? High School Diploma,

????? Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

????? Two years experience in a supervisory role

????? Two years previous A/R experience

????? Superior communication skills in both verbal and written formats

????? Strong attention to detail

????? Great organizational skills

Preferred Skills

?

????? Experience with Macola and/or Crystal software

????? Bachelor?s degree in Finance/Accounting
