ACCOUNTANT/ Financial Reporting / SEC

The company has operations in about 20 countries and markets products in approximately 60 countries.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our growing Santa Ana, CA Headquarters.

 

Assist with monthly financial closing process, including support schedules for preparation of monthly financial reports and analyses. Support the preparation of internal management reporting and external financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Assist in implementation of new accounting principles. Prepare supporting schedules for external auditors in connection with annual and quarterly SEC filings. This position may provide financial reporting assistance to business units and functional organizations and assist the Corporate Reporting Manager with special projects.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or similar field. CPA highly desirable. 2-5 years financial experience, preferably with a Big 4 Accounting Firm or in a financial reporting role for a global company desired. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements preferred. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial systems such as Hyperion, Essbase and/or SAP desired. Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
