ACCOUNTANT ? REAL ESTATE

 

Our client, a diversified service leader headquartered in Boston, seeks a promotable Staff Accountant.  Reporting to the Division Controller, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

?  Review invoices, process and pay (approx. 60 checks/week)

?  Ensure paperwork and appropriate levels of authorization are obtained before processing

?  Research vendor inquiries

?  Post all wire activity

?  File accounts payable and wire vouchers

?  Review BE Stables and Direct Resources and other receivables and bill monthly

?  Invoice tenants according to leases and for sundry items

?  Cash receipts and receivables

?  Other cash management tasks

?  Involvement with insurance issues

?  Assist Tax Department with the following:

o  1099 preparation

o  Sales and Use Returns

o  Annual Report Filing

 

Experience/Qual/Edu: 

 

?  Entry level ? 2yrs accounting or payables

?  Microsoft Excel skills are required

?  Great Plains or Peach Tree a plus 

?  BS in Accounting or Finance

 

SALARY:
$40,000 to $45,000
