Requirements and Competencies
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and knowledge of tax law 2 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience Knowledge of federal tax concepts Knowledge of tax preparation software Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Primary Responsibilities
Preparation of income tax returns, tax Schedule Ms and historical Schedule M files Tax closing, year-end provision and quarterly analysis of income tax accounts Monthly calculation of deferred income tax provision Special project work including assistance with IRS audit Global Provision specialist and tax software administration Responsible for tax return preparation and consolidation, tax provision work, FAS109 work, income tax account analysis, tax planning, tax software administration and special project work.
