ACCOUNTANTS & CONTROLLER

Our client, a global conglomerate, is the largest overseas subsidiary of one of Japans largest and most respected firms.

Their traditional core competence is in export, import, offshore trading, and domestic businesses. Increasingly, however, priority is being shifted from trading to service capabilities and investment, with their more than 100 subsidiaries and affiliated companies across the industries.

 

They have asked us to locate several serious accounting professionals for employment in their spacious midtown headquarters.

 

Staff Accountant - Salary range is $51K - $57K. Some auditing background needed; someone who has taken or is planning to take some of the CPA exams soon, or that is CPA certified. 

 

Sr. Accountant - Salary range is $56K-$61K. This position performs all accounting functions for assigned departments, branch offices and/or subsidiaries.  This includes reconciliation of accounts, preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports, preparation of government reports, and preparation and audit of consolidated reports.  Incumbent has responsibility for balancing ledgers, and reviewing the company vouchers for payment.  This position is also required to train, assist and manage new accounting personnel.

 

Jr. Accountant & Jr. Internal Controller - Salary range is $50K-$70K. Accounting and financial knowledge is required, especially for consolidated accounting and for tax related. IT literacy is also necessary for preparation for several reports. CPA, CIA is not necessary but challenging to CPA, CIA is highly preferable. Knowledge of internal controls, especially complying SOX Act, is required.

 

 

Sr. Tax Accountant - Salary range is $74,000 up to $97,000.  Federal, State, City, consolidation experience a plus; no small companies.

 

VP-Controller - $100k - $130k. 8-10 years experience in Corporate Accounting & Int'l Banking. Knowledge of Tax accounting. CPA is a plus.
