Washington non-profit organization is recruiting for a progressive and dynamic Accounting Analyst to join its Financial Planning and Analysis team. Primary responsibilities include supporting the annual budget process, performing variance and trend analysis, annual forecasting, periodic and ad hoc reporting, and general accounting support.

This is a project-to-hire position!

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS Finance, Accounting or related field

2-4 years (minimum) progressive accounting or analysis experience in medium to large company

Software/systems expertise: proficient in complex functions in Excel, e.g., create PivotTable reports and advanced filtering, adept with ERP software and financial reporting tools

Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:Strong general ledger accounting experience including financial statement preparation and/or budgeting and variance analysis
