ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Well-established, growing, sheet metal manufacturer needs an Accounting Assistant for its corporate headquarters in Fort Worth. PCI Industries is a leader in the design and fabrication of architectural and HVAC related products from aluminum and sheet metal.

 

POSITION:

The Accounting Assistant will provide support to the Customer Service, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and HR departments and to the Controller.

 

DUTIES:

Duties may include entering accounts payable invoices, providing production specification reports to the factory, checking shipping and billing documentation for accuracy, matching invoices with purchase orders, filing, matching checks with invoices, researching A/P and A/R issues, preparing employee packets, comparing orders with invoices for accuracy, gathering credit data, and other duties as needed.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have the following:Ability to communicate clearly with Customer Service and Accounting departments Accuracy and excellent attention to detailExcellent understanding of Accounting functions and their relation to the business as a wholeHigh School diploma or equivalent At least 5 years related Accounting experienceIntermediate or above skills in MS Excel and general computer proficiency
