ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT TAXES

If you have the desire to get more experience in the area of taxes, this might be the perfect opportunity! The client I represent  is a best in class financial planning, tax and investment advisory firm headquartered in Westchester. They service the wealth management needs of senior corporate executives, business owners and other professionals.  Their sophisticated tax department is seeking individuals who are interested in a career in taxation.The right candidate will have 2-3 years experience working in a small to mid-size CPA firm. Some write-up and/or quarterly financial statement experience preferred.  Candidates with hands on experience preparing individual, corporate, trust and estate tax returns are preferred.  Must have a strong financial aptitude. Detail oriented with strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.  Ability to communicate well with others and be a team player.  Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, tax and tax planning software programs, and online research programs.  Knowledge of CCH and BNA are preferences but will train.  CPA preferred or candidate who has already received the experience necessary for their CPA licensing.  OT is required.  Our firm offers an environment for growth and stability.  In addition to an exciting and stable work environment,  there is a full range of benefits and a competitive salary.
