Position # 1 Accounting Supervisor (Assistant Controller) 65-75K

 

This position is responsible for processing journal entries, performing the month-end closing process, reconciling accounts, preparing month and year-end financial statements, electronic transmission of financial data, preparation of Sales and Use Tax returns, supervision of clerical accounting employees, and other duties as assigned.

Potential candidates should have the following qualifications or attributes: Minimum five years Accounting experience in Manufacturing. Proven ability to analyze and reconcile accounts.

 

Supervisory skills.

Position will have 5 Reports (Payroll, A/P, general accountant, cost accountant, inventory accountant), Must have manufacturing accounting experience, -Credit Management, Banking, etc. Must be self-directed and self-motivated but able to thrive in team framework. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Proficient in Excel and Word. Goal-oriented, cost driven and analytical.  Experience with ERP system such as JDE or SAP a plus. Must have Four year degree in accounting. Thorough understanding of GAAP compliance

 

Position #2 Senior Accountant 50-60K

 

Must have manufacturing accounting experience.

Responsiblities include the following activities: Ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger  Efficient and accurate reconciliation of bank and GL accounts  Resolving of cash and accruals  Timely completion of month end close  Preparation of balance sheets, P & Ls, and other financial reports  Analyzing variances between budgeted and actual results  Special projects as needed

The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum requirements:A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA / MBA is desired but not required  3 - 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience Fluent in Microsoft Excel and/or Access; experiences with an ERP system is a huge plus  Strong analytical and organizational skills

 

Position #3 Cost Accountant 45-55K

Will perform all daily responsibilities related to cost accounting, most notably all analysis and reporting on product variances and productivity.

 

Job Requirements: Responsible for all production reporting and variance analysis. Review and validation of all product profile, BOM and routes. Rolling of standard costs and responsible for analyzing and reporting outside operations. Inventory, manufacturing, variance, & miscellaneous manual journal entries. Fixed asset and depreciation analysis and reporting. Miscellaneous duties/projects as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor, Controller and or Management.

 

Qualifications:1-3 years experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor?s degree in Accounting and/or equivalent course work or business experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel a must.  JD Edwards software experience, preferred.
