ACCOUNTING CLERK - SALES AUDIT DEPARTMENT

ENTRY LEVEL CLERICAL POSITION

 

 

DUTIES:

 

Analyze electronic gift cards, reporting and resolving discrepancies promptly and reconciling to the General Ledger

 

Analyze and ensure integrity of store credit, gift certificates, hold deposits, and wardrobe bucks, reporting and resolving errors promptly and reconciling to the General Ledger

 

Processes corporate customer refunds on a timely basis and ensures check requests are posted to the General Ledger correctly.

 

Reconciles tax exempt and business account reports on a weekly basis

 

Assists department by providing teamwork and cooperation in achieving goals

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Proficient computer skills (Excel and Word required)

Organized and detail oriented

Knowledge of basic accounting principles

Excellent verbal skills

Professional demeanor
