ACCOUNTING MANAGER

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the expense impact on the financial operations of Hospice By The Sea, Inc. He/she assists the Chief Financial Officer in developing and implementing the financial policies of the Hospice program.

Essential job functions:
Assists in the Financial Management:
?1 Books of original entry
?2 General Ledger
?3 Trial Balance
?4 Assist in monthly & yearly closings and audits
?5 Aids in preparation of budget
?6 Maintains scheduled of all bank reconciliations and payroll

Assists in the Cash Flow Analysis:
?1 Handles all bank account and monthly bank reconciliations

Maintains the General Ledger system and the financial reporting package
Directly supervises Accounts Payable and is responsible for administration of Payroll.

Qualifications:
?2 A four year degree in appropriate field and/or equivalent administrative or technical experience.
?3 Knowledge of bookkeeping statistics and payroll
?4 Knowledge of employee labor relations requirements
?5 Strong knowledge Computer programs:

MAS 90 ? Acounting
UltiPro - Payroll
Excel ? spreadsheet and report writing
