ACCOUNTING MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION

Our client, a growing and successful construction subcontractor located in Carson, CA, has asked us to assist them with the following full-time position:

 

 

ACCOUNTING MANAGER



 

DUTIES:

Prepare month end close, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations

Track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules

Variance analysis and recommendation of changes

Assist in regulatory reporting as applicable

Assist in preparation of progress billing to customers

Oversee contract compliance

Assist in the preparation of project cash flow and cash flow monitoring

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years general accounting, last 2-3 years in construction environment preferred

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

4 Year accounting degree (equivalent experience considered in lieu of accounting degree for exceptional candidates)

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Superior Excel skills

Timberline accounting software required

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
