We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Office located in Chicago, IL.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER - Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:
Manage employment decisions for 6 direct reports
Manage the creation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the client group
Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly Management Executive Committee variance reports
Prepare summary analysis/dashboard reporting for COO and CEO of the client group
Ensure the accounts receivable objectives and metrics are met - oversee maintenance and research on AR over 30 days past due
Responsible for the timely and accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms
Coordinate with senior accountants on the completion of quarterly audit schedules
Coordinate with accounting team on the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly financial statement packages
Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure the compliance of the team

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Posses/pursuing CPA preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience; prior supervision experience is required
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
