Position Summary
Under close supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely audit and processing of all non-trade transactions utilizing multiple data systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1.Responsible for auditing to ensure all expense check requests are within policy compliance, have valid general ledger coding, and are not duplicated.
2.Communicates daily with internal and external departments and divisions.
3.Issues stop payment and/or void check requests.
4.Handles supplier calls for payment information.
5.Enters all non-trade related invoices into the accounts payable system.
6.Prepares expense checks for mail or special handling, including additional steps required for attachments.
7.Must be willing to work overtime hours, as needed, in order to meet departmental objectives.
8.Performs related duties as assigned.


Educational Details
Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, or similar vocations is a plus. Completion of a high school degree or equivalent certification is required. Normally requires one (1) to two (2) years of experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment; previous experience with data entry and in accounts payable expense processing preferred.
