We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join our Client Accounting Services Group located in Westmont, IL.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER - Westmont, IL

Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of the Corporate A/P Supervisor and the Corporate A/P Specialists
Process all construction payables timely and accurately as required
Provide each A/P Specialist with the proper training, job skills, and job knowledge necessary to perform their jobs
Assess workloads by use of productivity indicators (in puts and out puts per staff) to determine an equal distribution of the work and identify when additional or less staffs are required
Track and report group performance using Key Performance Indicators
Track and report post-audit and pre-audit findings for the Travel & Entertainment reimbursement process
Approve timesheets
Ensure deadlines are met and that employees are complying with and enforcing the company A/P policies and procedures
Interview perspective new employees
Approve the selection, placement, development and promotion of personnel to ensure an effective succession within the department
Monitor career development
Perform various other A/P duties as assigned by the Transaction Services Controller

Requirements:
High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required
Minimum 3 years A/P experience required
PeopleSoft experience preferred
Ability to manage the Corporate A/P group to meet all deadlines
Demonstrated willingness and ability to accept responsibility
Support staff by adhering to all HR responsibilities
Travel as required to meet with internal clients
Excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency
