ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: STAFF TEAM MEMBERS

ENTRY LEVEL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE STAFF POSITION!!!

 

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manger, the Accounts Payable Staff Team Members are responsible for posting AP transactions to the general ledger; processing check runs and interface file transmissions; monitoring Sales & Use Tax accruals; contacting other departments/organization to resolve problems; preparing reports on budget or expenditure items; managing 1099 reporting process; setting up and managing vendor masters; and conducting system and process analysis to identify and implement process improvements. 

 

Preferred qualifications include Associate?s Degree in accounting or related field required or Bachelor?s degree preferred; must possess strong data entry skills and the ability to work within a team under time constraints and deadlines; and Great Plains knowledge preferred.

 

Additional qualifications also include possessing excellent project management and interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral; working knowledge of Microsoft office products; the ability to lead and establish rapport with a diverse customer base, both internal and external; and publishing experience preferred and highly desirable.
