We are currently hiring for the following position at our BMC West facility located in West Jordan, UT.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST

This hands-on individual will be responsible for posting monies, reviewing credit applications, making collections on accounts and general account maintenance.

 

Other responsibilities for this position include reviewing and reconciling A/R aging reports to the general ledger on a monthly basis, generating A/R invoices, applying cash to customer accounts, addressing/resolving customer questions and concerns, assigning preliminary notices and lien releases, working with contracts, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, assisting with month end closing, and managing the general ledger and job cost reports.

 

The candidate for this position must have a solid understanding of general accounting principals.  It is required that they have proficiency in MS Excel, and MS Word and NxTrend.  Individual must possess the ability to make outbound customer collection calls and be proactive with a strong customer service attitude.

 

Candidates must have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to work autonomously.

 

A background in job costing and construction is preferred.
