The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a/an AP Cash Disbursements for our Accounts Payable Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.



Essential Job Functions:
To provide first-class support to internal and external customers as part of the Cash Disbursements team. The team is responsible for creating and distributing payments, ensuring quality standards are upheld and resolving exception issues; Create check and ACH payments, including the identification of duplicate payments and creation of pay cycle reports; Prepare payments for mail, including the printing and matching of remittance advices; Void and escheat exception payments; Assist in the review of released payments to ensure that mistakes are caught before payments are distributed; Distribute priority checks to divisions and internal recipients; Log, research and resolve incoming mail; Verify payment files transmitted to the bank; Other duties as assigned



Job Requirements:
Previous Accounts Payable experience; Strong computer skills; Experience in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook; Prior experience using Peoplesoft Accounts Payable preferred



Education and Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
