AR Specialist

Motorsports Authentics, Inc., the industry leader in motorsports-related product licensing, merchandising, marketing and promotions, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. 


This position is responsible for Analysis of different credit and collection functions.  Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Maintain a pro-customer service approach in all credit functions by being responsive to both external and internal customers.Establish a professional and service-oriented relationship with all assigned accounts.Review assigned accounts with past due balances or collection issues on a daily basis.Serve as backup for the other A/R Specialist in the collection and invoicing areas.Initiate collection effort including, but not limited to:  Communication with customer accounts via phone, fax or e-mail.  Documentation of all conversations and dissemination of such information as needed.  Follow-up on promises of payments.Systematically send appropriate reminder letters to past due customers at key times.  For example, failure to communicate, second notice, final notice, etc.Review customer statements prior to sending to assure accurate information is being communicated.Inform Manager of possible problem accounts.Initiate a credit line review if customer requests it or account needs it, through the Credit Analyst.Maintain close communication with the sales area in the issuance of known credit memos or anything else the sales departments need to do that will affect the accounts.Develop ad-hoc reports as needed and requested.Assist Credit Manager on an as needed basis or work on any other duties as assigned.

 


INDIVIDUALS MEETING THE FOLLOWING MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY:

 Associate?s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five to seven years of credit and collections including commercial collections, financial analysis of credit data, and or equivalent combination of education and experience.  NACM credentials highly desired.Detail oriented and businesslike presentation and communication skills, written and oralAbility to multi task in a high-stress environmentIntermediate to Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; PRMS experience an advantageProven analytical and problem solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressurePossess a customer service attitude in interacting with customersAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment
