ASSISTANT CREDIT MANAGER







Corporate Credit Team









Dynamic Memphis-based Company seeking an Assistant Credit Manager professional to join our Credit Management Team in our Memphis corporate office. Ours is a fast-paced business to business credit environment working with wholesale distribution customers.







This position is involved in all aspects of Credit Management including:









Establishment of new business accounts











Review, research and make recommendations concerning approval of commercial credit applications and establishment of appropriate business credit lines.











On-going account maintenance and collection of delinquent accounts.











Monitoring and updating of credit data based on day-to-day business needs and maintenance of accurate credit history records. Establishment and maintenance of effective relationships with a wide variety of customers. Monitor and handle collection of delinquent accounts using interpersonal skills and formal collection action as necessary. 













The successful candidate for this position will possess these qualifications and talents:















Four years experience in credit management or other solid credit/accounting background required.







College degree in Accounting/Finance or other related field preferred







Excellent computer systems knowledge including Microsoft Office required.







Organizational skills ~~ Ability to handle multiple tasks with confidence and accuracy is required along with ability to prioritize assigned projects and workload accordingly.







Teamwork skills ~~ Maintain positive relationships utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills with external and internal customers and contacts.







Sound business skills ~~ The ability to use good judgment, research and analytical skills to arrive at sound business decisions.
