AUDIT MANAGER

INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Position is with a large energy company in Houston, TX.

 

SUMMARY:

The Audit Manager coordinates and manages a variety of internal audit assignments and projects.  Some of the audits will include; financial, operational, compliance, vendor, internal financial investigations and risk control assessments. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and execute various business unit engagementsOngoing supervision of audit project teamsMonitor engagement processes and quality of workAssist Lead Auditors in planning audit projectsContribute to the preparation of the annual audit plan and quarterly updates to the Audit CommitteeReview and approve audit work papersActively seeks the development of new or improved procedures which will enhance the overall profitability and efficiency of the companyManage the performance of Lead Auditors

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.  CPA or CIA is required.  MBA is a plus.

 

EXPERIENCE:

6-10 years of progressive audit experience.  Supervisory or Lead experience is desired.  Public Accounting or Energy experience is a plus.
