Job responsibilities for the Audit Manager include:
? Preparation of engagement plans to ensure that the Firm?s Assurance Services are accomplished within budget, in accordance with the engagement plan and meet client deadlines.
? Determining workload priorities in consultation with the Client Service Directors.
? Monitoring and coordinating assigned engagements.
? Reviewing audit, accounting and reporting issues with the engagement supervisor and informing assurance partners of engagement issues and proposed solutions.
? Monitoring any issues related to services outside the scope of the engagement.
? Reviewing work papers to ensure completeness, accuracy and accomplishment of engagement goals, overall support of the financial statements and agreement with the Firm?s policies and procedures.
? Reviewing financial statements and disclosures and submit for final review. Discussing draft financial statements with clients and directing engagement supervisors in the review process.
? Developing reportable conditions letter and effective suggestions and solutions.
? Reviewing any special reports required for the engagement and submit for final review.
? Ensuring engagement compliance with Firm?s quality control policies and with attestation standards established by the accounting profession and regulatory agencies.
? Management of projects to successful outcome.
? Mentoring and counseling associates and seniors.
? Participation in business development and marketing activities.
? Performing annual audits and quarterly reviews for various SEC Registrants.
? Assisting public companies with reporting requirements for Form 10-K, 10-Qs and proxy statements.
? Assisting clients with initial public offerings, secondary stock offerings, offerings of debt securities, filing of 8-Ks (including pro forma financial statements of acquired companies), and respond to SEC comment letters.
? Providing assistance to clients with the reporting requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act including preparation for certification under Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.REQUIREMENTSQualifications for this position are:
? Four-year degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
? Minimum 6-7 years of experience with a public accounting firm.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
? Ability to schedule time and workload to successfully supervise multiple engagements in an efficient manner.
? Strong leadership skills necessary to mentor and supervise associates and seniors.
? Strong client relationship management skills.
