AVP-Corporate Taxes-US, State and City

Job Description : One of our international banking clients requires an AVP of taxes for federal, state and local tax filings. The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting and, preferably, an advanced degree in Taxation and will be responsible for FAS 109 calculations and coordination of tax information to home office, regulators and other auditors, inside and outside the firm. The candidate will assist on all tax compliance of US bank affiliates and will interface with compliance, operations, consultants, vendors and other bank counterparties, when required. About 10% of your time will be spent on SOX testing on tax balances, work-papers, etc.

 

Requirements: A degree in Accounting and an MS in Taxation, plus 5+ years of experience in a corporate tax department is essential with at least 2 years assisting in completing Federal, State and local tax filings. Strong computer skills, especially with Bank Tax, Oracle, and CCH online are particularly important. Please submit your resume on-line to
