Account II

JOB DESCRIPTION: An experienced professional is needed in the General Accounting area to fulfill the following responsibilities within the Accounting Shared Services organization: timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions, timely and accurate closing of the general ledger, timely and accurate completion of account reconciliation's, liaison with business units/plants, recording and reconciliation of inter-company transactions, analysis of plant income statements and balance sheets, recording of appropriate accruals and provisions, establish and control standard journal entries, development and maintenance of accounting procedure manuals and continuous improvement activities. This position will require a continuous improvement approach to all departmental activities.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3 to 5 years of related experience with a CP or CPA candidate preferred. Also, the following skills are strongly preferred: knowledge of GAAP, experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and excellent communication skills. Experience is a manufacturing environment is preferred.
