Accountant

Job Description: Assist with compilation and analysis of Corporate budget and forecast data. Consolidate division budget/forecast data into Pillar software and create upload files.
Record daily Corporate cash transactions and make bank deposit as necessary.
Prepare Corporate controlled disbursement bank reconciliations for TIC and related entities.
Act as TIC accounting liaison for the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve Trust. Monitor monthly operating results and fund obligations.
Analyze monthly Corporate G&A operating statements.
Maintain monthly operating results and headcount in Pillar software.
Record monthly G&A expenses.
Prepare Corporate accounts receivable billings and account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of workpapers.
Assist with day-to-day accounting duties and special projects as requested.

Qualifications:


Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance with strong GPA.
2+ years general accounting experience in a large company environment.
Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills. Experience with electronic accounting systems and reporting tools.
Attention to detail, excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills.
Ideal candidate has a positive attitude, ability to focus on details and demonstrates initiative.
Possesses the ability to work with Corporate and operating division personnel in a professional manner.
Experience with GEAC general ledger system, Hyperion Pillar and Essbase preferred.
Public accounting background.
