Due to our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant at our Tiney Park Corporate Headquarters.

The Accountant will assist in the completion of month-end close including: Journal entries for multiple domestic divisions, Accounting and analysis for multiple international affiliates, and Accounting for Corp. operations. Assist in preparing the monthly US financial statements and prepare the Panduit Canada financial statements. Review, analyze, and reconcile various balance sheet & income statement accounts including cash clearing accounts. Assist in fixed asset maintenance and analysis. Review foreign subsidiary financial statements for accuracy and analyze all intercompany accounts to ensure accounts are balanced. Work with an outside Accounting firm on an annual basis to assist in completing the audit on a timely basis. Assist in completing special projects or accounting functions as assigned.REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in Accounting and 2 years of Accounting experience or equivalent experience required. Preference given to those pursuing outside education (MBA) or certification (CPA). Must have ability to prioritize and handle mutliple tasks. Good organization, documentation, communication and problem solving skills a must. Ability to recognize various accounting issues or problems within current responsibilities and suggest/implement solutions. Ability to evaluate existing processes and develop methods to increase efficiency. Comprehensive understanding of the fundamental accounting and business concepts, practices, and procedures used in international business and at Panduit. Experienced knowledge of Excel, Word, Monarch and other standard computer software programs. Experience with Oracle Financial systems is preferred.
