One of our retail clients has currently implemented a new initiative that has created a great opportunity for a multi-faceted Accountant. This is a great opportunity for an individual who loves being in a very visible position, having a lot of cross-departmental interaction, and want to put their problem-solving skills to the test!

 

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Analyze data for integrity
Implement efficiency
Reconcile database to the accounting software system
Research and reconcile fulfillment orders on a daily basis
Track ordering process
Follow up with many departments internally
Reviewing and auditing invoicing process
Manage certain aspects of Month-end Close
Preparing and post journal entries into the accounting software system
Preparing and reviewing month end general ledger reconciliations
Monthly management reports
Prepare variance analysis for senior management
Maintaining and updated accounting processes and procedures
Ad hoc projects as assigned

 

Required skills:

?  Four year accounting degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics

?  5+  years of experience in Accounting or Finance

?  Strong Analytical skills

?  Strong Attention to detail

?  Strong Interpersonal Skills

?  Strong Organizational Skills

?  Intermediate/Advanced in Excel

?  Intermediate Access or database experience

?  Ability to work with minimal direction

?  Oracle experience is a plus
