Accountant / Bilingual

Position Description: Position Summary Completes financial activities of the corporation, including preparation of current financial reports, summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook. Analyze company sales, budgets, audit expenses and execute related special projects. Work in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles established by copmpany, local, state and federal regulatory and advisory organizations. Essential Functions Preparation of financial statements including month-end close, reconciliations, and accruals Review inventory reports / imports, and adjust as necessary to tie inventory in accounting system to POS system Budget preparation and analysis Develop, implement and oversee internal controls Continuously verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data Assist with external audits Answer internal questions regarding company financials Work with accounting counterparts at corporate office in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico Provide P&L analysis regarding sales, discounts, COGS and expenses Provide Actual to Budget analysis to our distribution center managers Follow established accounting guidelines, policies and procedures established by company to maintain compliance with local, state and federal laws and requirements. Provide quality customer service to all co-workers, distribution center employees, corporate employees and management, and Mexican counter parts Ability to develop process improvements, establish internal controls, and department protocols Ability to manage accounting for multiple companies Required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Position Requirements:

Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in similar position and a 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance Computer & Related Skills : Must be proficient in all MS office products; Access and Excel programs; and trained on internal CORBIZ program. Language requirements : Must be proficient in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Work Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
