Strong Accountant needed with experience analyzing costs needed for our growing Government Accounting Group. The candidate will be responsible for project cost analysis, financial planning & budgeting as related to DCAA Government Reporting in addition to special projects.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years experience working in an accounting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree with major in finance, economics or accounting or at least 5+ years of related work experience.
• At least 1+ year of experience analyzing various types of project costs (labor/fringe, AP costs, etc.).
• At least 1+ year of experience handling financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• At least 2+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced degree
• At least 1+ year of aggregation and reporting processes experience
• At least 1+ year of government accounting or contract administration experience
• At least 1+ year utilizing Microsoft Access
• Excellent verbal/written communication & interpersonal skills with ability to summarize and present analysis to senior level managers.
• Desire to learn government accounting (Federal Acquisition Regulations/FAR, Cost Accounting Standards/CAS) required, past experience in these areas a plus
