Job Summary: The Accountant, Revenue Operations will participate in revenue accounting efforts, including monthly billing for all clients, transfer revenue and costs, revenue and expense recognition, and compliance with all aQuantive, Inc. policies and procedures. In addition, the Accountant, Revenue Operations will provide regular financial analysis and reporting support.


Core Duties/Responsibilities : Generate monthly billing for clients Coordinate monthly billing process for internal transfer revenue and complete accounting entries for all transfer costs Ensure compliance with aQuantive, Inc. policies and procedures for revenue and expense recognition, credit and collections, and contract administration requirements Review and analyze contracts and related documents to identify appropriate revenue recognition treatment Coordinate monthly and quarterly close process and complete reconciliations Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits by aQuantive, Inc.?s external accounting firm Work with aQuantive, Inc. and related entities to develop policies and procedures that streamline operations and accounting processes Complete other accounting functions as assigned Participate in the monthly financial analysis process including profitability analysis Participate in the revenue forecasting process Support other financial planning, analysis or reporting, including pricing, project evaluation, and budgeting Complete special projects as assigned


Education and/or Experience Bachelor?s degree, with emphasis on accounting, finance, or a related subject required. Minimum of three years related work experience. Accounting experience and/or coursework required. Revenue recognition experience preferred. Public accounting experience preferred Financial modeling, analysis, and reporting experience preferred. Proficiency with PC spreadsheet (Excel) required. Proficiency with database programs preferred. Oracle experience preferred Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously. Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Ability to communicate effectively and to interact professionally with all levels of the organization. E-commerce or related industry experience preferred.
