Accountant- SRB

Ajilon Finance has partnered with a leader in the construction industry and is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic project accountant. This position is responsible for various accounting duties to ensure accurate and timely completion of job cost reporting. Specific responsibilities include the setup and maintenance of job and subcontract master information on various databases; reviewing and correcting daily progress reports and field report information; and finalizing contract amounts with owners and engineers. Other tasks include requesting and monitoring the receipt of timely pay estimates and related cash receipts; processing engineer estimates and related subcontract payments; and processing monthly job billings and reviewing job cost to meet monthly deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have solid accounting and communication skills necessary for working on a variety of projects with various people within the organization. Must be able to move in an ever-changing and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience within construction or homebuilding. Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance.
