Spherion on premise @ DELL is seeking an Accountant for a long term temporary assignment.

Job Description:

Perform accounting for employee relocation and employee receivables; including journal entries accrual tracking and account reconciliations. Also includes some payroll transaction auditing.

Essential Functions:

Functions include journal entry preparation account reconciliation data validation and analysis.

Accountabilities:
Manages the maintenance of the accounting system to ensure that it accurately reflects the financial status of the business unit.
Reviews journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting
Reviews monthly account reconciliation.
Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
Advises, consults and presents to executive management on financial and/or accounting issues involving business activities for a business unit to ensure proper compliance with laws and GAAP.
