Accountant - Staff - Law Firm- GREAT BENEFIT PACKAGE
Krohn & Moss, Ltd. - The Consumer Law Center is one of the nation's largest Plaintiff consumer litigation firms. We are looking for a full time staff accountant to assist with Peachtree accounting software implementation and to prepare our corporate tax returns in 10 separate states.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and prepare corporate tax returns for all states in which we practice Create and maintain tax databases Prepare journal entries regarding tax payments, accruals, etc. Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting and licensed CPA with ability to file tax returns in 10 separate states for law firm. Previous experience with corporate income tax. Ability to work independently and as a team player to multi-task and handle various responsibilities. Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting, research, planning, organizational, prioritizing and written/verbal communication skills. PC proficiency with Peachtree Software
