ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ? PURCHASING - ACCOUNTANT

 

Dekra-Lite is a leading provider of Holiday D?cor and Banners to Outdoor Shopping Centers, Malls and Cities throughout the U.S..  We are seeking a multi-tasking Accounts Payable/Purchasing clerk to join our team.  We have sustained 16 years of continuous growth in the Holiday decor and banner business.  Located in Orange County, near South Coast Plaza.

 

Requirement Experience:

 

? Must have 2 to 5 years of Accounts Payable and Purchasing experience

? Great Plains accounting software a plus, but not a requirement

? Ability to work in a fast paced environment

? Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel  

? Strong attention to detail with exceptional follow through skills
? Strong communication, written, verbal and organizational skills

 

Job Description:


? Process invoice for input, approval and payment.

? Process weekly check run

? Maintain A/P files.

? Track subcontractors? invoice to jobs completed

? Preparation of 1099 tax reporting at year-end.

? Responsible for all purchasing needs of orders

? Purchasing of all inventory items and ensuring items are fully stocked

? Responsible for physical inventory input and reconciliation of inventory items in Great Plains.

? Vendor relations to ensure invoices are correct as well as ensuring products arrive on time.

? Provide backup assistance to Accounting manager with basic accounting tasks (e.g. prepare

journal entry and basic general ledger reconciliation).

? Assist accounting manager with special projects as needed.

 

 

Salary $36,000 to $40,000
