Accounting Administrator (AP)

We are looking to fill the role of an Accounting Administrator who is an experienced, bright, analytically oriented and self-motivated individual.  This individual will have the opportunity to learn and grow as the business develops further.

 Responsibilities:Timely and accurate processing of weekly check runs including the matching and mailing of all vendor payments.Input vendor invoices into Great Plains Accounting System.Manage and maintain vendor files.Review and code transactions for the monthly Corporate Credit Card invoice.Review and audit employee expense reports for corporate compliance.Ongoing recording and reconciliation of all bank account transactions.Handle all W9 requests.Prepare annual 1099?s.Create and process Purchase Orders.File and maintain all NDA?s and Contracts.Responsible for creating and maintaining Fixed Assets in Great Plains.Assist in month & year end process and annual audit.Assist in Accounting department projects, as necessary.

 

Requirements:Associate?s degree, preferably in Accounting, Business or related field.2+ years experience in Accounts Payable.Knowledge of and experience with Great Plains accounting system is a plus.Extremely proficient computer skills including, but not limited to: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Is desirable. Must have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented.
