Accounting Analyst - Intercompany

Linx-AS is currently recruiting for an Accounting Analyst with Intercompany experience. Please do not apply unless you have intercompany accounting experience.

 

This position is with a Malvern Pharmaceutical company, is full time, day shift and a direct hire (not contract) position.

 

Overview:

 

 

An accounting professional who, as a result of experience in public and/or corporate accounting, possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to perform various accounting functions. The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for assisting with the intercompany and elimination process and also with performing worldwide consolidations. The Accounting Analyst II performs monthly and quarterly close activities such as preparing reconciliations and analyses, journal entries, and various reports. The Accounting Analyst II coordinates with other  entities and departments to ensure timely and proper information flow.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Assist with the monthly and quarterly consolidation process utilizing an SAP-based consolidation package.
Maintain exchange rates within R/3 and communicate to all end-users on a timely basis.
Review revaluation and translation transactions with regards to foreign-currency based subsidiaries.
Monitor and reconcile activity in the currency translation adjustment account and ensure compliance with SFAS 52 "Foreign Currency Translation."
Prepare intercompany and elimination journal entries, schedules and reconciliations.
Eliminate profit and reconcile ending balances in intercompany inventory.
Interact regularly with domestic and foreign entities to ensure timely and proper accounting for intercompany transactions and elimination entries.
Maintain documentation regarding intercompany agreements and ensure compliance with those agreements.
Interact with the internal and external audit groups to fulfill their requests.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley procedures.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as requested.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

BS in Accounting

Intercompany accounting experience required; 2-3 years accounting experience

SAP experience a plus
