We are seeking an exceptional individual to oversee, monitor and reconcile accounting practices and general ledger activity of service parts inventory for 17 countries in the Asia-Pacific region.  He/she will work closely with personnel in other F&A organizations, as well as Logistics operations, applying accounting discipline to approximately $40 million in service parts inventory.  Key responsibilities will include driving standard processes and controls, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting deliverables, and compliance to corporate policies and accounting standards for various countries / regions throughout the world.  He/she will be a self-directed individual with leadership skills and a strong sense of accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ÿ  Drive process improvements and implement standard processes globally

Ÿ  Review and approve inventory account reconciliations

Ÿ  Identify and execute action items to resolve reconciliation variances timely

Ÿ  Review and approve journal entries and participate in the monthly close process

Ÿ  Review inventory account balance trends

Ÿ  Provide financial and business expertise and prepare ad hoc management reports as needed

Ÿ  Work closely with Accenture to ensure complete and accurate financial processing is performed

Ÿ  Support internal and external audit reviews and requests

Ÿ  Manage/Lead associates within a matrix reporting environment

Ÿ  Investigate and resolve issues timely & accurately

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Ÿ BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Ÿ Minimum 2 years accounting experience, within the last 3 years

Ÿ Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Access

Ÿ US Permanent Resident

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ÿ MBA degree or CPA certification

Ÿ 3+ years related accounting experience (such as general ledger reconciliation, cost accounting, inventory accounting and etc.)

Ÿ Experience in financial and/or accounting analysis

Ÿ Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, including Sarbanes Oxley

Ÿ Enterprise data warehouse experience
