Accounting Assistant (Accounts Receivable RQA278

Gates Corporation, a global manufacturing company located in downtown Denver, has an opening in our A/R department. This key position will offer you the opportunity to expand your accounting experience, give you responsibility for handling a large customer base, and provide support for the management group.

 

Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining receivable records for large volume of customer remittances. Auditing/processing remittances; investigating and resolving reconciliation issues. Resolving debit memos, unapplied cash, or other remittance detail.

Analyzing customer deductions and determining corrective action.

Ensuring monthly customer statements are accurate and current.

 

You qualify if you have:

? 2 years college or equivalent experience

? Four years of verifiable business experience; preferably in computer reliant accounting, credit, or A/R

? Oracle software a definite PLUS!

? Can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

? Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access is a plus

? Have 10-key by touch

? Strong organizational/analytical skills

? Ability to interact with diverse personalities
