Accounting Duties:Entry of payable and receivables in QuickBooksReport generation from QuickBooks and QuickPayDevelopment of billing spreadsheets for e-mail invoicesSpreadsheet maintenance for revenue, contracts, pricing, etc.Preparation assistance with other Controller?s Excel reportsProofreading of Controller?s work before publicationAssistance with monthly closing of the booksFollowing up with external parties for various matters (e.g., collections)Checklist creations and daily monitoringOther duties as assigned

Administration Duties:Purchase order assignment, preparation, distribution, approval, and filingOrganization of files and ongoing file maintenanceProactive ordering of office supplies and maintenance of office equipmentPolicy and Procedure project assistance with employee mattersAssist with attendance tracking and interview schedulingArrange for gifts and donations with and for appropriate personnelPlan meetings and prepare agendas for these eventsReception and phone work when others are not availableOther duties as assigned.

Requirements:Competency in Excel, Word, and OutlookFamiliarity with an office environmentUnderstanding of accounting activities in a business office.Minimum of two years of college work or work equivalentExcellent writing and communication skillsExercise good judgment, maintain integrity, adhere to ethical principles, and behave in a professional manner.
