JOB SUMMARY


Applies basic accounting principles to identify and accurately enter financial information. Provides administrative support to the Treasury and Accounting Departments.


Minimum Requirements
A minimum of six hours college level accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Bank account reconciliation.
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and techniques. Knowledge of general accounting, experience with computerized accounts payable system in addition to 10-key ability.
Ability to work independently and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to assimilate into a useful format.
Strong numerical skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial issues to non-financial users.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Understanding and previous use of a Windows-based computer system.
High proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Ability to navigate on the Internet.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years general accounting experience.
Knowledge of H&R Block accounting procedures.
