Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
Maintains financial records by processing and recording transactions in various accounting systems.
Provide support to the Accounting Manager and Department

Specific Areas of Focus:
Maintains Accounts Payable system, including verifying and allocating invoices
Maintains Fixed Asset system
Processes and records cash receipts
Balances and reconciles General Ledger accounts
Maintains accounting records by filing and storing documents
Prepares monthly financial reports for sales brokers
Maintains financial security by ensuring all financial related information is kept confidential

Minimum Qualifications /Skills :
Two-year degree in Accounting and two years relevant experience or Bachelors degree in Accounting
Great Plains experienced preferred
High degree of organizational skill and attention to detail
Excellent computer skills, with emphasis in Microsoft Office products
Extremely trustworthy and confidentiality is a must
Strong communication skills
Personable and team-player attributes
