Job Description

 

Professionals within the BPO Businesses workgroup align with eight distinct business offerings providing standardized, asset-driven and value-added processes. These stand-alone businesses support multiple clients by industrializing individually tailored client solutions into specific business offerings.

 

Accenture Finance Solutions creates new business opportunities and margin enhancement for our client partners and Operating Groups by developing and managing compelling finance and accounting solutions for clients that combine our outsourcing and consulting capabilities. AFS service offerings cover all aspects of financial management from business analytics to financial accounting and transaction processing services.

 

The Collections Specialist serves as the primary end-to-end collections contact, addressing all account disputes and non-payment issues, and is primarily responsible for the medium-dollar/medium complexity accounts.  This role does not have supervisory responsibilities

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Contact customers and pursue payment of outstanding account balances

Conduct the detailed research, reconciliation and analysis required to resolve all account  disputes and non-payment issues

Coordinate with the appropriate client organizations, as needed, to resolve account issues

Communicate resolution status of account issues to customers and secure payment as appropriate

Display sufficient understanding of standard processes to enable recommendations for process improvements where approved.

Able to recognize and act on non-standard situations and adapt to collection guidelines

Ensure AR system data accurately reflects the latest account status, using detailed comments and collections codes (as needed)

Support AR and BU reporting requirements 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

This position supports Caribbean Latin American countries and the candidate must speak fluent Spanish and have a credit collection background; Must also speak and write English

Analysis and Resolution skills

2 ? 3 years or more of collection experience

College degree preferred or relevant experience
