IMS is currently seeking a Reporting Analyst for the Morton Grove, IL 60053 office (just North of the city of Chicago; close to Metra and 94). This position is responsible for internal and external reporting and analysis for a specified client.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
?Prepare client financial reports
?Query database to obtain required financial information
?Client inventory analysis
?Responding to client and internal reporting inquiries
?Ad hoc reporting
?Verify client (external) and internal reports
?Create AS400 and Crystal Queries if needed
?To maintain users and reports for the IMS Reporting Center
?Assist Accounting Manager with the reconciliation and analysis of the freight accounts


The ideal candidate will have a related college degree AND **1-2 years of corporate financial or reporting experience**. The individual will have strong problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Accuracy and attention to detail will be extremely important. An ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and work independently and as a team is essential. Working knowledge of journal entries, and month end close responsibilities will be helpful.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with JD Edwards and Crystal a definite plus.
