Accounting Manager / Controller

Western Washington's leading independent retailer of pet food and supplies, along with a sporting dog manufacturer/wholesaler company, seeks to fill the key accounting position in their Woodinville location.

 

Candidates will be expected to operate a POS and sales order system, integrated with the latest version of MAS90 with highly accurate and up to date information on a daily basis.

 

Duties Include:

Process data from WAN to MAS90 accounting system.

Maintain 16 separate profit centers.

Plan and execute physical inventories

Oversee A/P, A/R and payroll departments.

Prepare balance sheets, profit/loss statements & other financial reports.

Prepare monthly and quarterly business and payroll taxes.

Analyze financial data and records.

Report financial results to management

Attend weekly planning meetings and participate in the overall management process.

 

Skills:

Must be able to communicate, lead and supervise a small staff.

Proficient with MAS90 accounting system and Apropos inventory system.

Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
