Accounting Manager / Controller Entrepreneurial Company in the San Fernando Valley

Very entrepreneurial company in the San Fernando Valley is seeking an Accounting Manager / Controller for its Valley Corporate office.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in a start up company and also have exposure to E-commerce. 

 

This position will involve switching corporate books from QuickBooks to a new GL package.  New accounting manager / controller should have experience with software implementation and conversions.

 

Work closely with principals of company with all matters of accounting and finance.

 

q Supervise all General Ledger work

q Oversee and handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll

q Implement company benefits program and administration of benefits

q Involved in hiring of all accounting staff

q Prepare corporate financial statements and report information to corporate management team

q Work closely with outside CPA firm on a periodic basis

 

The ideal candidate will have a background which includes

q BA / BS in accounting

q 5+ years of experience in accounting as well as some experience at a managerial level in accounting

q CPA is a plus but not mandatory

 

Salary for this position will range from 75,000 ? 90,000 based on experience and an bonus based on individual and company performance will also be offered.
