Accounting Manager / Cost Analyst

Growing international company is looking to hire the best financial talent in the marketplace to join its manufacturing and distribution center in Louisville, KY. Ideal candidates should be self-directed, hands-on, and have the desire to work in a dynamic environment. The qualified candidate interacts extensively with Senior Management, and as such, should possess strong oral and written communication skills.

Job responsibilities:Perform accounting functions at month end and year end including financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting. Ensure standard costs are accurate. Coordinate the annual physical inventory. Assist in budgeting at plant level. Support Senior Management in completing special projects as required. Maintain statistical data for hourly and salaried employees.

While the ideal candidate will have their Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting, there is a strong emphasis on relevant experience, financial analysis, and communication skills. CPA or MBA a plus.
